A selfless Boston socialite struggles to
help a homeless con artist and his drug-
addicted daughter turn their lives around
until she realizes the importance of addressing
her own personal needs.
To know and forgive yourself is hard, but only by having the right attitude toward yourself can you have the right attitude toward others.
Mrs. Appleton is a socialite dedicated to helping others, too often at the expense of her own needs.
She meets Theodore Jones, a man who likes to impersonate upstanding and renowned citizens but, as she quickly finds out, is really a homeless con artist.
When his daughter, an exotic dancer, almost dies of an overdose, he and Mrs. Appleton find themselves brought together, two unstable opposites in an unlikely relationship.
After failed attempts at reuniting Mr. Jones and his daughter, Mrs. Appleton eventually realizes her failure to find the key to everyone’s salvation may be due to her own inability to forgive herself for the death of a loved one...
